Handcrafted with some of the following oils and butters:
Olive Oil: Olive oil has been used for thousands of years for skin and health benefits. With high amounts of antioxidants, you will find that olive oil is high in Vitamins A & E to nourish your skin. Regular use of soaps high in Olive oil will moisturize and nourish your skin, leaving it soft and supple.
Coconut Oil: Coconut oil is the miracle oil in soaps. Most of quality bars of cold processed soaps around the world have coconut oil in them! This is what makes the soap hard, it is a major cleansing agent and contributes to the creamy lather of your soap.
Palm Oil: The third in the “trinity” of soap making oils, palm provides a creamy, luxurious lather to your soap. It also contributes to the hardness, which in turn fosters a hard, long-lasting bar.
Avocado Oil: One of the “luxury” oils we add to our soaps. Avocado Oil is filled with beneficial vitamins and as it soaks in, it moisturizes deeply into the skin, helping to minimize small wrinkles and signs of aging.
Apricot Kernel Oil: Expressed from the seeds of an Apricot, Apricot Kernel Oil is rich in Vitamins A & E. A gentle emollient, AKO will moisturize and nourish your skin. Non-greasy, it quickly absorbs into the skin
Jojoba Oil: The only oil that completely resembles human sebum, or oil that is naturally produced by our oil glands. An anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial oil, jojoba nourishes and moisturizes your skin.
Cocoa Butter: On of our all time favorites in skin care, cocoa butter has many benefits in your soaps and other body care products. It helps create a hard bar of soap, it is FULL of antioxidants. Antioxidants will kill off all the nasty free radicals that damage our skin and make us look our age (or worse).
Mango Butter: The naturally emollient properties of mango butter promotes healthy and hydrated skin. It has a protective effect on UV rays and can help sooth sun burns. Dermatologists are now beginning to recommend it for treating aging skin, lessening the appearance of fine lines.
Shea Butter: Shea is like the superfood of butters. High in fatty acids and Vitamin A, E & F. Not only is Shea highly moisturizing, it also protects and nourishes the skin.
NOTE: As much as possible, Sand Creek always tries to use natural or organic products, Fair Trade when it works out, and Palm Oil from sustainable sources.
